Passing of Col. Henry S. Olcott (1842-1907) and J. Krishnamurti (1895-1986). Col. Olcott was the President-Founder of the TS from 1875 to 1907 and author of Old Diary Leaves, his record of the early history of the Society. Krishnamurti was a religious philosopher who questioned belief, knowledge and human conditioning and is the author of First and Last Freedom, The Awakening of Intelligence and Freedom from the Known.
